We installed hundreds of Vibro Replacement stone columns using the Dry Bottom Feed method to achieve a soil bearing capacity of 6,000 psf while maintaining total and differential settlement within allowable limits. We predrilled a thin hard crust to allow an easy penetration of our tool. Geotek Design-Build's experienced team successfully completed a highly challenging project. We installed IDEAL Group | IDEAL Foundation Systems STELCOR Drilled Displacement Micropiles in an 11 ft. excavation, working between active utility lines. These micropiles were installed into limestone and grouted to enhance their friction capacity. We conducted a full-scale load test and measured settlement of less than 0.1 inches under design load.
