ANTI-DUMPING DUTY UPDATE: On June 27, 2024 the US Department of Commerce completed the final determination of the AD and CVD investigation on certain pea protein from China. The Department of Commerce will upload the unpublished Federal Register notices and Decision Memoranda to the respective case files in its Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Centralized Electronic Service System (ACCESS) shortly and intends to upload the disclosure documents within five days of this announcement of the final determinations. Additionally, the ITC is still in the process of finalizing its damage determination for this product. A final determination will be announced around August 12, and once the ITC announces the damage results, the duty rate will be settled. As it currently stands, AD duties range from 111% - 280% and are retroactive from a date to be determined upon conclusions of the ITC investigation. The Counter Vailing Duty Rate announced in December ranging from 15% - 356% also applies. Importers will be responsible for both the CVD and AD. Please join us in continuing to cheer on the team! 15th May: Game 2 Recap Sharks vs Mavericks - Manchester Softball League   Since the opening Game for the Sharks vs reigning champs Thunder, the team has played some tough opponents. The Manchester Softball League has some of the top players in the country represented among the teams in Division 1. Game 2 Sharks played the 2nd seed Mavericks, which took place on the same week as the Vitafoods Show in Geneva. Therefore the team was missing some key players as they attended the show. Mavericks maintained their perfect record and beat the Sharks with a 19-4 run-ahead rule win. Leading from the start then scoring a nine-run 3rd inning eventually mercy ruling the Sharks in the 5th.   MVPs - Hayley Hulme (1B), George Swan (CR)   SHARKS     2 0 2 0 0 4  MAVERICKS 4 2 9 0 4 19   29th May Game 3 Recap Sharks vs Camels 2 - Manchester Softball League   Camels 2 were promoted from Division 2 for the 2024 league, so the Sharks were hopeful for their first win of the season! The British summer was yet to appear and the opponents were faced with windy cold conditions making it especially difficult for the pitchers on the teams. Sharks started the game strong with an 8-2 lead in the 1st inning and shut out the Camels 2 team in the next 4 innings, winning 21-10 in the end after a nail biting 6th inning which saw 2 homeruns blow right over the Sharks outfielders!   MVPs Hayley Hulme (1B), Charlie Whalley (CR)   SHARKS   8 2 0 2 1 5 3 21  CAMELS II 2 0 0 0 0 5 3 10   5th June Game 3 Recap Sharks vs Mayhem - Manchester Softball League   Its started so well... Sharks started strong in the first inning against Mayhem scoring an impressive 7 run lead. The team played defensively well until the bottom of the 5th when Mayhem evened the score 8-8. It was then that the Mayhem teams bats fired up and they scored an impressive 11 runs and shut out the Sharks in the 7th inning. However the Sharks are showing they do have the potential to get to the level of the other teams.
