The Princess celebrates 15 years with Mr. Scottsdale: Jack Miller, a 40-year veteran of the hospitality industry, began his career as a nighttime dishwasher at the Atlantis Beach Lodge in Cocoa Beach, Florida, where he fell in love with the hotel business. In 2009, Jack joined the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess family as General Manager of the iconic 750-room, AAA Five Diamond resort in the Sonoran Desert. Since then, Jack has made a significant impact overseeing the resort’s unprecedented various expansions with the Palomino Conference Center, 102 new guest rooms, Sunset Beach and award-winning Legacy Events making Fairmont Scottsdale Princess iconic for its hospitality, grandeur and amenities. Jack has attracted visitors from around the globe with successful events such as Christmas at the Princess, changing hospitality’s approach to holidays and transforming the Princess from a seasonal resort to a year-round destination. Jack has left an indelible mark on Scottsdale’s economy and identity. Today, the hotel has consistently been recognized as the No. 1 hotel within the Fairmont brand for guest experience. Furthermore, the Princess has been recognized as the ‘Best Place to Work in Arizona’ for seven years running due to Miller’s inspirational belief from Walt Disney’s ‘Remember the Titans’: “Win or lose… do your best. That’s all anybody can ask for.” Named General Manager of the Year by multiple associations, Jack Miller’s “if you can dream it, you can do it” mindset and dedicated passion to the tourism and hospitality industry continues to set new records and take the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess to new heights as Regional Vice President and General Manager. In celebration of Pride month, our Culture Commitee hosted a bake sale to help raise money for ONE Community. Thanks to our employee's generous support, we raised $1,000 for their mission to advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights in Arizona.  #Loveislove #PRIDE
