“Music class helped me realize what I’m capable of.” That’s from a student at partner school HS 223 in the Bronx, and we couldn’t agree more. We’re so proud of the growth of our teachers and students this year and the impact they’ve made through music. As we look to the fall, we intend to build upon this impact and expand our program to additional under-resourced schools across NYC — and we urgently need your support to accomplish this goal. Time is running out to help us raise $100,000 before June 30. More schools means more students will have music class to look forward to, express themselves, and realize their potential. End the school year on a high note with us by giving today. Link in bio or at etmonline.org/donate

ETM's finale at Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) was a success! 🎶 Last week, the students from partner school St. Brigid St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Academy in Brooklyn took the stage for our final performance at the venue! Under the direction of ETM Teacher Roy Perez, the students sang beautifully and it was a wonderful conclusion to our series of concerts at PAC NYC this school year. Thank you, PAC NYC, for partnering with us and providing such an incredible space for our students, families, and supporters to gather to celebrate the power of music education! #MusicEducation #MusicEducationMatters #MusicTeacher

#ItStartsWithTheArts! Yesterday, our CEO, Janice Weinman, and ETM Teacher, Liz Chidester gave powerful speeches at the #ItStartsWithTheArts rally at City Hall organized by the NYC Arts in Education Roundtable. Alongside students, elected officials, teachers, parents, and arts leaders, we advocated for the New York City Council and Mayor Eric Adams to provide a certified arts teacher at every school and ensure all students have access to an equitable arts education.
