On June 27th, EnviroVoters Inland Empire Regional Organizer, Ciara Thrower, hosted our Inland Empire Inflation Reduction Act Accelerator! This was a months long effort with the partnership of many local organizations including: Inland Empire Growth and Economic Opportunity, The Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development, CivicWell and The Strategic Growth Council. With 40 diverse participants from across the region, we discussed the importance of the Inland Empire receiving their fair share of federal funding to enhance our infrastructure and facilitate a Just Transition from extractive economic models to regeneration. Thank you to everyone that attended and made this successful event happen-- especially our girl, Ciara Thrower! You killed it!!

✅ ✨ We are seeking a dynamic Finance Director to join our senior leadership team! This role is pivotal in strategic decision-making, enhancing program quality, and driving sustainable growth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ✅ Directing and actively participating in the financial management of both EnviroVoters 501c(4) and Education Fund 501c(3), including long- and short-term, financial planning, financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, and investments. ✅ Ensuring compliance with GAAP, organizational policies, and federal/state tax requirements. ✅ Establishing the guidelines and procedures of the annual budget, and mid-year forecasting processes. ✅ Overseeing the preparation and providing the final review of budgets/forecasts. ✅ Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on monthly revenue and expense, variance analyses, balance sheets and cash forecasts. This role requires hands-on involvement, where the Finance Director will actively engage in day-to-day financial and accounting tasks and processes.
