ENSCO staff scientist Jonathan Case’s research was featured in the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society journal! The article, “Southern Asia’s Intense Thunderstorms: Building Up Resilient Forecasts in the Hindu Kush Himalaya Region,” discusses how improved thunderstorm forecasting/modelling can benefit underserved regions like the Hindu Kush Himalaya, which faces severe storms. The research shows how advanced systems can enhance early warnings and ultimately save lives. Case helped implement this system in HKH, Bangladesh, and Nepal by setting up equipment and training local teams. This initiative highlights ENSCO's commitment to making the world a safer place.
