🚨 My latest piece in Forbes🚨 Did you know according to a new Coltura study, 10% of American drivers are consuming 35% of the nation's gasoline, that's more than what all of China consumes! It's alarming and it's costing us all. They’re driving long distances between gigs and home racking up miles driving from gig work to gas stations ⛽️ in an endless loop. I argue that targeting our public EV subsidies to this cohort of 21 million drivers right now would do more for their pocket, our lungs, and the planet than any other transport measure to date. Ultimately, the solutions lie beyond just electrifying these driver’s vehicles. We need to undo a lot of decades of car-dependent systems and policies. It’s chock filled with some spicy 🌶️ takes! Starting this Jan, you can buy your Hyundai vehicle on Amazon with Amazon Prime delivery! 📦 18 US dealers kick it off, more coming in 2nd half. 🌐 🛒 Amazon is the world's largest e-commerce platform and online retailer by both market capitalization and revenue. 🤝 Dealerships aren't out, they're in for the ride, ensuring a personal touch with the choice to have it delivered or picked up from the dealership. 📈This has quite an impact on online car retail platforms as Amazon enters this high-value product space. Personal vehicle are the most valuable projects households purchase after their homes. 💸Seeing both houses ( wouldn’t be surprised if this is next- rentals & for sale) and cars are becoming out of reach to the average person I wonder if #primeday will mean something very different in terms of clearance. 💳 Swipe your way with credit card payments at checkout.
