A quantum celebration! 🎉 Thanks to everyone for coming out and toasting to the Mountain West's historic moment as the global leader in quantum. A special thanks to our speakers, Gov. Jared Polis, Lucy Sanders, Corban Tillemann-Dick, Wendy Lea and Zachary Yerushalmi, and to the more than 150 guests who came to eTown last night to celebrate this moment and look ahead to even greater possibilities on the horizon! Thanks to Kort Duce for beautifully capturing the festivities and Kanitha Snow for helping put the event together. Here's to even more reasons to celebrate in the future!

"If we want to live in the Jetsons Age, we’ve got to get this right. The quantum community in Colorado has a gravity around it really unlike anywhere else on the planet. We have more organizations, more jobs, more Nobel Prizes than any other." - Elevate Quantum CEO Zachary Yerushalmi. https://lnkd.in/gVeAZ4Zv

We've spoken some about how, as much as any technology legacy, the "give-first" mindset was the real superpower of the ecosystem. Chris Myatt embodied that. He set the spark for so many of the critical initiatives that got us across the line. He was the voice of experience and industry and quantum for the Quantum Bill, the Lab/Fab, and well beyond. Could not find someone more humble and capable and a huge pleasure to work with and learn from. A massive thanks to you.

Another leader of this Tech Hubs effort the can't recognize enough is Lucy Sanders. NCWIT, the organization she founded, wrote the playbook for how to ensure for an inclusive path for advanced technology education. The experience, the passion, the kindness -- no one fights harder and more effectively to expand access to the most exciting technologies of our time. She did it in Computer Science and now is coming for Quantum. Watch out, world. There aren't enough thank you's out there, NCWIT and Lucy Sanders, for working with us to build a #QuantumFuture!

This took a village to pull off. We want to recognize a few of the leaders for which this Tech Hubs win would not be possible. We couldn’t have pulled this off without Jacob Douglass incredible leadership at the EQ Workforce Collaborative and as a driving force for our Workforce mission. Through his work at the QED-C (Celia Merzbacher) collaborations with communities across New Mexico, the Mountain West, and well beyond, he’s building the quantum workforce of tomorrow and ensuring everyone in our region and country has a shot of taking part in the Quantum Century. Thank you, Jake! Sandia National Laboratories Quantum Systems Accelerator
