    The 100-year-old standard of moving frozen food in shipping containers at -18ºC is outdated and demands reinvention. After careful research and testing, we are working with DP World to change that. Raising the temperature of frozen food from -18ºC to -15ºC would not harm the food inside, but would save 17.7 million tons of carbon emissions per year – the equivalent of taking 3.8 million cars off the road. It is a win-win-win for the industry, requiring almost no investment, saving energy at least 5% on energy costs, and radically reducing emissions.
