On Sunday 19th May, 9 members of DTZ Investors ran the Hackney Half Marathon in support of the Hackney Foodbank. Hackney Foodbank supports people who are in crisis or trapped in poverty, with compassion and dignity. They do this by providing emergency food parcels which offer practical, immediate relief in moments of crisis, and by connecting people with local organisations that can help them to address the root causes and wider effects of poverty in their lives. They opened in 2012 and since then they have distributed over 864,632kg of food and household items within Hackney. Collectively, over £4,550 has been raised by the team so far and this is likely to increase over the coming weeks. If you would like to make a donation, there is still time through the following link: https://lnkd.in/eiaZeExG Well done to all who took part, we are proud to support such a worthwhile cause.

Our Folk Co-living scheme, Florence Dock, recently hosted a cooking competition for young chefs from Carney's Community to showcase their culinary talent. Carney's Community is one of our Community Investment Partners. Based in Wandsworth, they provide a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals aged 11-30. Through boxing, fitness, and mentorship, they transform lives, helping young people thrive despite challenges. This event was one of the first initiatives funded by FOLK, DTZ Investors Co-living Fund, as part of our giving back budget. We believe in investing not only in properties but also in the communities we serve. A big thank you to our staff and residents at Florence Dock who volunteered their time and energy to make this day memorable. https://ow.ly/Jf3U50Rup4j
