The Jeep® brand is celebrating two awards this week for the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wagoneer.
The Grand Cherokee, the most awarded SUV ever, was recognized by S&P Global Mobility with the Automotive Loyalty Award for its ability to retain owners over repeat buying cycles, which is determined when a household that owns a new vehicle returns to market and acquires another of the same make, model or manufacturer. The award applies to entire Grand Cherokee lineup, including the two-row Grand Cherokee and plug-in hybrid Grand Cherokee 4xe and the three-row Grand Cherokee L.
Since 1997, the Grand Cherokee has won 13 S&P Global Mobility awards.
“This loyalty award from S&P Global Mobility reinforces that the expanded Grand Cherokee family addresses our customers’ diverse needs now more than even,” said William F Peffer Jr, head of Jeep brand North America. “Whether it be the two-row Grand Cherokee, three-row Grand Cherokee L or plug-in hybrid Grand Cherokee 4xe, which delivers 56 MPGe, 25 miles all-electric range and 470-mile total range with no range anxiety.”
The Jeep Wagoneer was recognized by PARENTS with one of the 2024 Best Family Cars Awards, which recognizes a selection of new-model vehicles with high-tech performance, safety and convenience features across multiple categories to fit a family’s specific needs.
Covering the heart of the large SUV market, Wagoneer delivers up to eight-passenger seating, with a spacious standard third row and best-in-class overall passenger volume and best-in-class second- and third-row legroom with the most cargo volume behind the third row. The Wagoneer also features the award-winning rear seat monitoring camera, a favorite feature of the staff at PARENTS.
To arrive at this year’s list of honorees, PARENTS experts thoroughly reviewed and tested 140 cars from a field of new-model vehicles that aced the industry’s safety tests. Twenty-two vehicles and driving systems were chosen.
