Thomas Bayer, CSP, Vice President, EHS, within our Maintenance and Construction business and a member of our Safety Council, has seen significant change and tremendous growth over his 27 years with Day & Zimmermann. But he says one thing has never changed: our dedication to ensuring the safety of our employees, customers and communities. Through his service on the Safety Council, Tom works to set a positive example for prioritizing safety above schedule, productivity and profit, while encouraging colleagues to take ownership for the safety of themselves and others. "If we truly care about each other, we must have the courage to be our brother's and sister's keeper. That means we never walk by an unsafe act without intervening and providing some level of coaching or mentoring. Our commitment to safety isn't turned on when we arrive at work and turned off at the end of each shift. We must remain constantly vigilant." #NSM #KeepEachOtherSafe #SafetyIsPersonal

Our country remains a nation of liberty and equality because of their service and commitment to our democracy.
