Meet Clement Muhayimana, our Senior Integrations Engineer at DAS Health. Clement joined DAS Health in January 2018 as part of the Integra IT Solutions company acquisition. He has over 15 years of experience in Business and Healthcare Information Management Software development. ➡ What is your proudest professional accomplishment at DAS Health? My proudest professional accomplishment at DAS Health lies in my contribution to the company’s mission of delivering the highest value Health IT and Business Solutions for patients and clinicians. My daily tasks involve suppressing healthcare information silos through application integration, hence improving patients' and clinicians’ healthcare experience, as well as healthcare outcomes. Serving on such a mission at DAS Health has been my honor. ➡ What do you enjoy most about working at DAS Health? I enjoy the way all departments work together to accomplish the same mission. There is a sense of teamwork, regardless of what department a team member belongs to. This reduces toxic inside competition and encourages everyone to support each other to achieve the company's mission. Another thing I enjoy is that the company has a culture of thinking outside the box, which helps the company weather the market proactively. ➡ What advice would you give to someone starting a career in your field? My advice to someone starting a career in my field would be to be ready to get challenged! Integrating healthcare systems brings something new in terms of technology every day. Developing an adaptive mindset is an asset in this field. So, there is no room to be complacent with what one knows today, as tomorrow's challenges might present the need for new technology. However, there are many opportunities, and the field renders you polyvalent, a sought-after characteristic. ➡ How do you see DAS Health contributing to the transformation of healthcare technology? As mentioned above, DAS Health’s mission is to provide the highest value Health IT and Business Solutions. Our Integrations Department contributes tremendously to achieving this mission by improving the healthcare experience through minimizing Healthcare information silos. Our services mainly include building interfaces between different healthcare systems. Our work under DAS Health contributes to transforming healthcare technology, hence improving the healthcare experience. ➡ Can you share a fun fact about yourself?  One of my greatest hobbies is traveling to new countries (cultures), experiencing their food, and learning their languages. As a result, I speak, on average, five languages. Clement, we are thankful for your continued dedication to DAS Health!
