ASATYN: Always Send A Thank You Note True story: Our client hired a less qualified candidate over a senior candidate because they sent a thoughtful thank you note. Set yourself up for success with these 3 TY note tips: 1) Make it memorable. Talk about something you bonded over during the interview. 2) Attach your resume to the thank you note so they see it AGAIN. There's a phenomenon called the "mere-exposure effect." It suggests that people develop a preference for things because they are familiar with them. Repeated exposure to something (like a resume) makes it more familiar and often more likable. This concept is widely used in advertising and marketing to increase consumers' preference for a product through repeated exposure. IT WORKS. 3) Make sure you have an email signature with your full name, email, and phone number so they don't have to go searching. Remember, ASATYN. Always Send A Thank You Note
