Men often don’t seek out healthcare or discuss their health concerns. But it’s important to prioritize your health with regular checkups and screenings to prevent more serious problems down the line. Our latest blog addresses common men’s health issues and how we can tackle them head-on. https://lnkd.in/gA-zKsSA #MensHealthMonth

Trust is at the core of everything we do. That’s why we give members a dedicated Care Team they can connect with any time they have questions or need care. We also have providers who are trained in Sexual Orientation & Gender Diversity to ensure our care standards meet the needs of our LGBTQIA+ members. Happy #PrideMonth.

Nadine Cohen MD FACP, one of our Physician Leads, recently took a medical mission service trip to the Bateys in the Dominican Republic. She and the team, including 12 American students interested in pursuing healthcare professions, were based at El Buen Samaritano Hospital in La Romana and traveled to set up temporary pop-up clinics in different Bateys each day. Dr. Nadine encountered various health challenges, including malnutrition and related conditions, due to the recent surge of Haitian refugees in the Bateys. She left the trip feeling full of gratitude with many valuable lessons learned. We’re grateful to Dr. Nadine and the entire team for providing care to those in need.

Check out our CEO Scott Shreeve, MD's insightful interview with artist Marc Hemeon conducted during the installation of his mural at our San Clemente headquarters. Dive into the layers of his story and be inspired by his reflections on gratitude, decision-making, and embracing uncertainty. https://lnkd.in/gXsCzJ-n
To mix it up, I wanted to share an interview with ocean artist & waterman Marc Hemeon. He allowed us to create a mural from a painting that had a very specific metaphor for Crossover's recent leadership conference. I have known Marc for almost 20 years and besides being one of the most creative people I have ever known, he is also one of the most unique based on his experience, perspective, and connections. "The reason I paint the ocean is because to me it is the best metaphor for the human condition. It's the best teacher. It's the best mirror to represent humanity. My reflection of it is an attempt to capture what is most prevalent of what you see in our work life, in the companies we start, in the challenges we face, and in the many projects we take on." This post is an interview (with audio) that we spontaneously captured during the mural installation process. We discuss Marc's creative process, the frantic five day push to conceive and deliver the mural for a conference, and what Marc hopes people experience as they "experience" the mural. I think you'll dig both the artistry and the authenticity.
