The future of automation, today. AI-first robotics delivering guaranteed performance starting on Day 1.
About us
Our mission is to build the Covariant Brain, a universal AI to give robots the ability to see, reason and act on the world around them. Bringing AI from research in the lab to the infinite variability and constant change of our customer’s real-world operations requires new ideas, approaches and techniques. Success in the real world requires a team that represents that world: diversity of backgrounds, points of view, and experiences. Our common denominator: ambitious expectations, love of learning, empathy for those around us, and a team-first mindset.

Secret bin picking competition testing out-of-the-box performance, learning, and adaptability‼️ Covariant and ABB Robotics teaming up to make robotics smart…..powered by AI. Why #AI⁉️ Not just because it rhymes ;-) ✅ picking, packing, loading, and unloading represent up to 60% of fulfillment operations costs ✅ Recent advancements in the field of modern AI now enable traditional robots to perform and adapt to dynamic and complex conditions ✅ reduce operational cost for fulfillment and the soaring e-commerce industry Covariant's Brain-powered robotic solutions are proving their worth. In the secret bin picking competition, half of the items tested were intentionally kept confidential. Out of 20 participating companies, #Covariant was the only one to succeed in all the tests. #automation #robotics Lukas M. Ziegler Miloš Kučera Katja Butterweck

In AI Robotics, achieving 99% reliability—where human intervention is needed less than 1% of the time—is the critical threshold separating commercially viable solutions from costly experiments. The true measure of an autonomous solution lies in its ability to function not just under ideal conditions, but in the face of real-world imperfections. Warehouse environments are far from pristine testing floors—products fall, labels stick together, and unexpected issues arise regularly. A system’s response to these inevitable challenges defines its practical value. Check out our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/ggD_BX3g

Billions have been invested into automating the “feet” of facilities. Now, industry leaders worldwide are turning to the Covariant Brain to automate the “hands” – one of the most critical yet labor-intensive areas. Our AI platform empowers robots to perceive their environment dynamically, handling nuanced tasks with reliability and flexibility.
