26.2 miles later, we want to congratulate all four of our Cosán runners on finishing the 2024 Boston Marathon! David, Lisa, Dan, and Greg started the day together and all crossed the finish line within an hour of each other. Even better, our four runners have raised over $20,000 dollars in support of Special Olympics Massachusetts! While the race may be over and our runners are resting their tired legs, our donation window is still open. I had the privilege to meet some of these amazing athletes following the BAA 5k as part of the Boston Marathon weekend, and our participation with Special Olympics. As a sibling to a dedicated sister who has worked tirelessly for them, a father to an amazing autistic son and a runner with a great team to raise funds, its very humbling to put in perspective how much effort these athletes and those that support them put in to each day. The challengers we face running businesses pale in comparison and often its helpful to remind ourselves how blessed we are. Special Olympics Massachusetts Cosán Group
