While fusing a pipe and running a generator, Skilled Laborer and Fusers, Jaxon and Fernando noticed an unattended fire hydrant blasting water into a manhole. Inside, a man was trapped, unable to speak or escape. Fernando blocked the water while Jaxon shut off the hydrant, and together they rescued the man. Their quick actions likely saved his life. Their heroism embodies true GRIT and a strong commitment to safety. Big news! FCC Commissioner Anna M. Gomez visited a Congruex job site in Utah to see our crews in action on a fiber-to-the-home project. Commissioner Gomez and Wireless Infrastructure Association President and CEO Patrick Halley met with our teams, received an overview of Congruex, and learned about our wireless and fiber work. They also heard about our commitment to safety and training through TIRAP: Powered by WIA, where registered apprentices learn and grow while deploying wireless and fiber broadband networks.
