May 26 commemorates the anniversary of the 1637 massacre of hundreds of Pequots during the Battle of Mystic Fort. We pay tribute to the enduring spirit of the Pequot people, who bravely faced the first genocidal assault by European settlers on what would later become the U.S. mainland. Within this dark chapter of history lies the remarkable story of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation—a tale of resilience and resurgence. Owned and guided by the values of the Tribal Nation, Command Holdings remains deeply rooted in ancestral traditions while forging ahead with a vision for the future.
