A big thank you to our incredible staff for participating in a fantastically attended and executed mock code in rehab yesterday! Your dedication to continuous learning and excellence in patient care truly shines. Mock Code Drills serve many purposes – it’s extremely important to continue to improve and keep up skills! They provide medical staff with practice, which in turn improves confidence, familiarity with equipment and location, documentation, and the cohesiveness of staff from all different departments coming together as one. Mock Code Drills like these provide learning environments PRIOR to actual emergencies, giving CRH employees the advantage to improve skills, patient care, and documentation. 🎉 A huge thank you to the CRH Foundation for the Ultrasound IV access training supplies! 🎉 Thanks to your generous financial support, we finally had our first formal training session with our core group of nurses who will be our IV access and Midline insertion team. The training manikins are an invaluable resource, allowing our clinical staff to practice and enhance their Ultrasound vascular access skills.
