For years Apple has used their App Store monopoly to extract proprietary information from developers, which they then use to develop competing products in a process called Sherlocking. In various jurisdictions around the world, we’ve seen Apple and Google circumvent laws intended to address their app store monopolies. It is imperative that the CMA effectively enforce the #DMCC law, learning from Big Tech’s playbook elsewhere. 

The DMA is the law of the land and the European Commission must continue robust investigations to make it clear that non-compliance is simply not an option for the app store gatekeepers. https://bit.ly/4a9b9Gw
