Yesterday, we ended the last session of our Level Up Leadership Academy with a graduation celebration! 🌟🎓 Before recognizing our grads, we delved into Contract Negotiations and Interpersonal Communications, vital skills for our roles as local government professionals. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Kristen Haynie from CPS HR and Yolanda Underwood from Yolanda Underwood Solutions for leading yesterday’s session. 🚧 Attention Manteca Residents & Businesses! 🚧 Construction for the Louise Avenue Pavement Improvement Project, from Main Street to HWY 99, will begin on June 24, 2024, through October 2024. Here’s what you need to know: • Construction hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. • Temporary traffic controls will be in place for your safety and convenience. • The project includes removing and replacing failing asphalt, updating striping, marking, and signage, installing bike lanes, and improving pedestrian access. Despite the City of Manteca falling short with a final score of 18-8 against the talented Diamond Gals & Silver Sluggers of Del Webb, the game was filled with laughter, sportsmanship, and unity. The connections and friendships that were strengthened during this event were the true winners of the day.
