Shaun has a remarkable education journey culminating in degrees in an undergraduate degree in Physics, Masters of Nuclear Engineering, MBA from the University of South Carolina, and Business Management from Harvard Business School. With over 24 years of experience spanning the power generation sector, Shaun is a distinguished expert in nuclear, natural gas, and renewables. He has also excelled in various roles, from business management and development to mergers & acquisitions, and operations. Prior to joining Cinterra, Shaun showcased his entrepreneurial spirit by successfully developing a local fence contracting business, quadrupling revenue and earnings in just 2.5 years. Shaun’s visions align with the culture at Cinterra, placing people and innovation at the forefront. We are thrilled to have Shaun on board! Cinterra welcomed six college interns this week to our Hope Mills office for the first week of our Summer Internship Program. This ten-week program provides an opportunity for students to build a professional network and gain insight on their prospective career paths. While working with us, each student will focus on a division that correlates with their current major and career goals, including finance, project management, supply chain & logistics, and marketing. Each intern will obtain knowledge on their field and the industry by working closely with a supervisor and mentor, and through an individualized hands-on experience featuring activities such as project execution and field trips to Cinterra solar sites. 2024 Interns: Alanis Acosta – East Carolina University - Supply Chain & Logistics Bella Brown – The University of South Carolina - Supply Chain & Logistics Jacob Coale – UNC Chapel Hill - Project Management Kynita Stringer-Stanback – Wake Technical College - Project Management Mary Whitaker Jones – UNC Wilmington - Marketing Timothy Mills – East Carolina University - Finance We are proud to work with these students this summer and look forward to building a wonderful internship experience with them! #summerinterns #college #renewableenergy #internship #career
