Chota Community Health Services is happy to announce that our Mobile Health Clinic will be at El Jacal in Sweetwater on Wednesday, July 17 from 9am to 3pm. We will be providing the following free health screenings: * Blood sugar checks * Blood pressure checks Please stop by if you'd like to receive a free screening and learn more about how Chota can help you with your health. **We will have a Spanish translator on-site.

As part of our 20th Anniversary Celebration, each Friday we are going to highlight an award that we have been honored to receive during our 20 years of serving Monroe County and surrounding areas.. We will start with the "Best Nurse" award. The "Best Nurse" awards are determined by community votes in the Advocate and Democrats People's Choice Award. Our nurses are the best of the best, and our community has honored them as such. We are so proud of them for their dedication and hard work. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty, and their service to our community has been invaluable. We are truly grateful for their commitment to providing quality healthcare to our patients. Today we highlight Brittany Martin, LPN and Clinical Administrative Assistant. Brittany won "Best Nurse" in 2018. She has been serving the community at Chota since 2015 and we are so lucky to have her on our team.

Today, July 2, 2024, we will begin seeing patients at the new Tellico Plains Clinic. This clinic is located directly behind the old building. The address is 145 Fifth Street. Fifth street is the new road that connects New Hwy 68 and Hunt Street.

Today, we are introducing Jennifer McKenzie, FNP. Jennifer is the Nurse Practitioner for the Monroe County School- Based Clinics and has been involved with the SBC for 20+ years since they began.
