Interim executives excel at building teams, motivating salespeople, and creating strategies that boost sales. Sales is a complex function that requires customized strategies tailored to the product, customer, and environment. Boost Sales with the Human Touch In a digital world, personal connections are increasingly rare. Sales representatives who add a human touch to their interactions with clients can build longer and more profitable relationships. According to a survey by Gong.io, salespeople who used video communication were 41% more likely to close a deal. Personal interactions foster trust and help build lasting client relationships. Share Testimonials When researching a product, many people turn to Google or Amazon to find reviews. Good reviews significantly increase the likelihood of purchase. A study by the Spiegel Research Center found that the purchase likelihood for a product with five reviews is 270% greater than that of a product with no reviews. Encourage happy customers to share their experiences and use that content to promote your product. For online businesses, displaying reviews prominently can significantly boost sales. If you have posted a senior level role to a job board recently, you know that you will get tons of applications. But how many of those are even remotely qualified for the role? In our experience, not many. The time your #hr team spends sifting through these unqualified candidates can be a major distraction from filling the position. That's why we started building a private network of senior leaders in 2005. These are the results orientated candidates you want on your leadership team. If you would like to stop looking at unqualified resumes and start talking to the right executives, send us a message.

Running a business is demanding, and even the most dedicated CEOs need a break. Managing clients, day-to-day operations, finances, and sales can lead to burnout. This is where an independent executive can step in and provide much-needed relief. Bringing in an independent executive can be a huge relief. They quickly assess the company's situation and use their experience to take over various roles that have been weighing down the CEO. This allows the CEO to focus on more strategic and fulfilling activities. By delegating responsibilities, CEOs can achieve more. Some find more time to spend with family, while others can focus on strategic growth. For instance, one CEO was able to grow his company through new business deals and acquisitions because he had time to create and implement a strategic plan, thanks to an independent executive handling daily operations. Independent executives can also help navigate tough times. One CEO brought in an independent president to help his company out of a rut. The company needed drastic changes, but long-term employees made implementation difficult. The independent president brought a new perspective, mentored employees, and improved overall performance. This allowed the CEO to make strategic moves, ultimately growing the company and deciding not to sell it. The flexibility of independent management is invaluable. CEOs can resume responsibilities at any time or work with the leadership team on long-term solutions once the immediate heavy lifting is done. Whether you're wearing too many hats, need time for personal matters, or want a fresh perspective on your business, an independent executive can lighten the load. Understanding egocentric bias is crucial for leaders. It's the belief that one's views are clear and true to everyone. While this can be a strength, it can also stifle communication and creativity within your team. Curious about how to manage this bias and foster a better work environment? Check out the conversation Kristen McAlister had with Matthew Cahill below. #Leadership #Communication #OrganizationalCulture #InclusiveLeadership https://lnkd.in/ehXhVzNT

If you are a #hrleader who is trying to fill a senior level role with a job board, you deserve the rest of the day off. Job boards are great for many things, but senior level roles are not one of them. You need a leader you can trust and a leader with the experience to get things done. Neither of these qualities are filtered by job boards. Enjoy your time off, and on Monday, give us a call.

Interim Executives don’t step into perfectly running companies. They enter when there’s trouble, whether it's a sudden leadership gap or a company in transition. Their unique and challenging role requires a different approach. With over a decade of experience, here are some key principles for successful interim management. Leverage a Team Over a Person A successful transition relies on teamwork. Leaders are just one piece of the puzzle and must collaborate with others. Effective teamwork hinges on communication: be open, set expectations and timelines, and allow people to execute their tasks. Engagement is Key Engage everybody in the solution. Leadership at the top may not have visibility into every aspect of the business. Engaging all areas helps diagnose underlying problems, not just symptoms. Too often, companies focus on symptoms without addressing root causes. Quantify Everything Facts and figures should guide decisions. While instincts can be useful, numbers provide a solid foundation for analytical decisions. Break down the numbers and measure what’s important. If you can’t measure something, find a way to do so. If it's truly unmeasurable, set it aside temporarily while figuring out what to do. Take a Zero-Based Budgeting Approach Zero-based budgeting is crucial. Many companies face trouble because of their current practices. Think about rebuilding the business from scratch, identifying what's important and what can be discarded. Critically assess and leave behind any practices considered sacred or untouchable. In urgent situations, nothing should be off-limits. Focus on the desired outcome and work backward from there to avoid common challenges during a turnaround. Ready to implement these strategies and drive your company forward? Find out how an interim executive can help you navigate transitions effectively. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/ev8xfPJh.
