Our leadership recently had the privilege of meeting with the BridgePoint Healthcare - National Harbor Executive Team, led by Reginald Lee. Along with receiving a tour of the facility, our leaders discussed ways the two organizations could effectively work together in the future. We want to thank the group from Bridgeport Health for taking the time to meet with us and look forward to building a partnership that will serve the local community.

About us
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will integrate clinical care with existing providers, The George Washington University Hospital and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. Additionally, options are underway for a future ambulatory facility in Ward 7. This clinical integration will establish a robust system of care for all District residents and in particular, communities East of the River. The $434.4 million full-service hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for physician offices, clinics, a community space, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transports. Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is expected to be completed in 2025.

Last week, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health’s COO, Vaughn Williams, MHSA, served on the “Attracting Talent” panel along with leaders from Pepco and DC Water, at the DC Workforce Summit organized by the Workforce Investment (WIC) at the Kellog Conference Center. Our COO discussed the positive culture and patient experience at Cedar Hill Urgent Care. In anticipation of the hospital opening in 2025, he also shared the vision for focusing on a strong culture to recruit and retain top talent.
