🤑 For those of us lucky enough to work in something we are passionate about and truly matters, we know that it's more than *just* a paycheck. So much so, that we’ve discovered that 20 percent of you are willing to take a paycut to work in CDR.
💰 Shortly after launching CDRjobs, it became increasingly clear that salary is something we needed to understand better if we are going to attract and retain the best talent to reach gigaton scale. Unfortunately, as we also quickly discovered, data on salaries in job ads is scarce at best with with under 30 percent of CDR jobs we've collated providing this information.
🧩 That’s why we launched the 2024 CDR Salary Survey and thanks to the the 400 respondents, we are beginning to put together the pieces. For example, we uncovered that the salary of full-time CDR roles is significantly lower (average of $117K) compared to the salary of full-time non-Climate roles in the US (average of $168K).
