Carter’s is excited to welcome our 2024 June Executive Development Program (EDP) class! During their immersive kick-off week, the EDPs built upon their leadership, communication, and collaboration skills through company workshops and a volunteer event with HOPE Atlanta. We cannot wait to see the meaningful impact they will make at Carter’s! The Executive Development Program is a formal 6-month development program layered on top of a full-time entry level position. The program provides recent college graduates with specialized development to guide their transition from campus to our corporate office, retail stores, or distribution centers. This robust development program will jump-start their careers as future leaders within Carter’s. #LifeatCarters #CartersCareers

Carter’s volunteers made a significant impact at the LEAD Center For Youth in celebration and commemoration of Juneteenth! As a part of a rotational program, volunteers competed in batting skills with the talented youth of LEAD Center for Youth, encouraged their creativity by helping them design t-shirts like those at Carter’s, and taught them about the importance of Juneteenth and the key leaders and activists behind it. A special shoutout goes to our dedicated ambassadors, Jeffrey and Johncia, and to every one of our volunteers for stepping up to the plate with such enthusiasm! Your efforts have truly made a difference. #LifeatCarters

On June 19, 1865, freedom finally arrived in the state of Texas. Union troops emancipated over 250,000 enslaved people on “Juneteenth” (short for June Nineteenth) – a date now celebrated nationwide as the end of slavery in the United States. On this day, families come together to celebrate and honor their ancestors with parades, educational events, prayer services and family cookouts. Carter’s is proud to observe Juneteenth as a U.S. Company holiday for all U.S. regular full-time employees. #lifeatcarters

In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Carter's building marquee will proudly be lit up red, white, and blue through June 9. On June 6th, 1944, Allied forces from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, and other nations stormed the beaches of Normandy, marking the beginning of the end of World War II. Their bravery and sacrifice changed the course of history by securing freedom and democracy for generations to come. As we honor the heroes who fought for their countries, let us never forget their courage and resilience. At Carter's, we pay tribute to their legacy and remain committed to supporting military families around the world. #lifeatcarters
