Our summer internship program is underway! This talented group of interns, representing 40+ different colleges, are working throughout the company domestically and internationally. Connecting with health care professionals, patients and caregivers is essential for delivering safe, innovative products across the continuum of care. Members of our U.S. Nutritional Delivery and Medical Affairs teams recently demonstrated this at The Oley Foundation annual conference, bringing together patients, families, providers and experts to focus on education and advocacy for home nutrition therapy. Our team met with users of our Kangaroo™ Nutritional Delivery products, showcased features of the new Kangaroo OMNI™ Enteral Feeding pump and hosted educational sessions for tube-fed patients and their families. At Cardinal Health, we are dedicated to promoting #STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in our communities. Our medical product research and development site in Mansfield, Mass. recently hosted nearly 70 fifth-grade students from Jordan Jackson Elementary School for a STEM-inspired field trip. Our team members shared their expertise through a variety of activities, touching on: ▪️ Chemistry ▪️ Sustainability ▪️ Cardinal Heath product demos ▪️ and more! We continue to proudly support STEM education and hope to inspire students to explore their passions and curiosities in these exciting fields. I had an opportunity to chat with our summer interns, 60 interns from over 40 colleges and universities working throughout Cardinal Health domestically and internationally. Wow! What a group.
