Good morning from BWFS INDUSTRIES, LLC land. An ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) vessel fabrication facility. It has been a wild adventure the last seven days. As you all know by now Hurricane Beryl went through the city of Houston among other places and did affect us. Most team members were without power for the whole week. Some are still without. Power to our Eastex office was restored yesterday evening. Our Etheline facility should be online sometime today. It looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel. There are portions of the area that are projected not to have power back until the end of the week! We appreciate all the linemen from the area and all the ones who have come from out of town to bring power back to the area. It has been a major task and is still ongoing. During this time we were still able to make sure we were having ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) vessels leave to get to the customers jobsite. Team members even with their homes having no power made sure they were on sight to have the deliveries go out on time last week. Here are some pictures to highlight. One is 179 feet total length and 225,000 pounds. Another finished out at 108 inches in diameter and 64 feet long and after consuming a large diet of carbon steel went out weighing 300,000 pounds. We value and appreciate our team making it happen during challenging circumstances as a community. We hope that everyone locally has had their power back on or will have it in the near future. Beryl is not welcomed back. No hurricanes on the agenda for this week as we get back to normal. Good morning everyone from BWFS INDUSTRIES, LLC! Long time no see. Apologize for our tardiness. We have been busy welding, grinding, coating, testing, heat treat, loading, unloading, inventory, quoting, ordering, and getting a tan in the process. Almost like the Bahamas. Minus the palm trees, water, sand, and tropical beverage. While our ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) vessel artists were finishing up work on yet another masterpiece. OK...yes....a little self promoting there. We wanted to show the teamwork involved as one and in this case two examples of our finished product hits the road. In this video clip you can see the communication, coordination, and all parties working in sync to ensure safety of the load and those around is of the utmost priority. These are two,12' in diameter 175,000 pounds each, ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) going out in tandem. Just like a football coach would draw up a play, the same goes for all the professionals involved. Everyone knows their role and task and focus on it. It is fun to watch it in action.
