About us
Life gets complicated sometimes – especially financially. When circumstances, often out of our control, strike, it can create very real and immediate needs. Our mission at the Broadcasters Foundation of America is to improve the quality of life of men and women in the radio and television broadcast profession who find themselves in acute financial need due to a critical illness, severe accident, natural disaster, or other serious misfortune. Our grant programs directly support our broadcasting colleagues. We know how financially devastating medical bills or recovery expenses can be for a family. Our Foundation provides much-needed grants to help fill in the gap between income and expenses. We are the only charity devoted exclusively to helping radio and TV professionals in dire circumstances. Our team is comprised of broadcasting veterans and our board of directors are compassionate industry leaders – together, we make it a daily goal to improve the lives of our colleagues in need. If you, or someone you know, is an industry professional who needs financial assistance during a difficult time, we want to hear from you – and we want to help.
