📣 Alumni Spotlight: Min K., Rise Kohyang High School, Class of 2024! We are thrilled to announce recent Rise Kohyang High School graduate Min K. has received admission to Washington University in St. Louis 🌟AND🌟 a full, four-year scholarship through the QuestBridge Match Scholarship! From over 20,800 applicants, 2,242 outstanding, high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds were selected as this year’s QuestBridge Match Scholarship Recipients. The Match Scholarship is made up of a generous financial aid package provided by the college that covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing and food, books and supplies, and travel expenses. This fall at WashU, Min plans to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and be a part of the BioSURF research group on campus. “It's always better to give it your best shot than regret missing out on opportunities in the future. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a 4.0 GPA or a 4.7 GPA, it is all about commitment and determination," he said. "Although talent plays a role in academic success, hard work teaches you self-control, determination, and responsibility." Min's success is a testament to his perseverance through any challenges as his continues to work hard in achieving his goals.
