“A leader should enable their team. Take the blame when things go wrong, and give credit to others when things go right.” I’m so thrilled to share BreakLine’s fireside chat with Josh Araujo, CEO of Forterra. His team, among the earliest innovators in the field, is revolutionizing the defense sector with autonomous vehicle systems while supporting and protecting soldiers and civilians on the front line.  Josh delves into his unique journey from the Marines to Wall Street and to leading Forterra, plus the importance of building and maintaining your relationships along the way. He highlights his core leadership principles and the significance of staying close to the operational level to understand the business and empower teams. Josh ends by sharing his goals and plans to scale Forterra. Josh - it was such a pleasure having the chance to have this conversation live, and we can’t wait to share it with more members of our community! BreakLiners who attended called you “genuine and down-to-earth” and said your comments and perspective are “exactly what aspiring and current leaders need to hear.” We couldn’t agree more— thank you so much for spending your time with us! https://lnkd.in/gg36v99c

There’s nothing like spending time in-person with your teammates! As a fully-remote company, we’re always grateful for the opportunity to come together and celebrate each other and our community. Most of our team was able to meet up in Denver this week to say “Aloha” to summer and the second half of the year— our goals are audacious but together, we’re unstoppable!
