Through multi-disciplinary teamwork, Bozeman Health has been nationally recognized as a leader in these efforts. Reducing subthreshold phototherapy through preventative means can lead to many favorable results including: - Reducing the time and cost of hospital stay for infants and parents - Reducing the chances of infant readmission - Promoting the opportunity for more skin-to-skin time between parents and their child - Reducing the chances of infant dehydration #AAP #Americanacademyofpediatrics #Healthycommunity #Goteam #Motherbaby

"I think it's really important to do what you do well first, and then start to expand. Try to communicate that in an effective way, so you're able to deliver for the patients you are providing for." -Dr. Kathryn Bertany, Bozeman Health CEO Bozeman Health is committed to whole-person wellness and recognizes the great need for continued support of the behavioral health care continuum in our community. While no single organization can sustain all the behavioral health services that our community needs, we are proud to continue to expand our behavioral health offerings to include a new adult inpatient behavioral unit as well as expand our multidisciplinary care team. On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas with the news that the more than 250,000 enslaved Black people in the state were free. This day came to be known as Juneteenth, an official federal holiday. Juneteenth is a day of reflection and celebration of African American culture and history. This day commemorates the end of slavery, and also emphasizes the ongoing struggle for civil rights and the importance of equality and freedom. Bozeman Health’s mission is to improve community health and quality of life by delivering the best care for each person, every time. As such, we live our values by actively demonstrating our belief in providing health care for all who need it and our belief in ensuring we foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Together, let's continue to learn, grow and support each other. #Juneteenth #HealthEquity #DiversityandInclusion #CommunityFirst
