Yet another reason why I love working at Bombas: last weekend, our cross-functional crew packed up my car and shipped up to Boston for The Boston Run Show at the Hynes Convention Center. In the course of the two-day event, we had an incredible time showcasing our unparalleled performance products, speaking with thousands of members of the running community, engaging with other brands doing meaningful work in the space, and spreading the good word about our company's incredible mission. As a lifelong runner heavily engaged in the running community, this was an amazing opportunity to step out of my traditional realm of work, share my personal experience, connect with both old and new friends alike, and speak with diverse individuals in myriad stages of their personal running journeys. Thank you to Connor Losey for including me in this project, expertly captaining our team, and squeezing into my car for the trip, and to Isabelle Rios and Kaylee Wallace for being knowledgeable, excellent teammates in this adventure. Thank you to Tess Guttières, Lindsay Karchin, and the Brand Team for bringing this idea to life, and of course, thank you to Nicholas Carrillo, CPA, Frank Barbalaco, CPA, and the rest of our Accounting Team for encouraging me to grow beyond my role on paper. Our socks go the extra mile, and our team does too.
