When Babylon was born, we wanted to make farming more accessible to all. But there was one group in particular that we really wanted to help… → The younger generation. Here are some stats most people don’t know: 👉🏻 32.1% of children do not eat fruit daily 👉🏻 49.1% of children do not eat vegetables daily 👉🏻 And only 29.3% of children consume 5+ fruits & veg a day When it comes to eating & accessing fresh produce, children should be at the top of the list. Because this food is not only nourishing future generations… But it is showing them the true meaning of fresh produce. And this is exactly why, Babylon Micro-Farms created the STEM Garden. Helping schools to show their pupils the importance of eating & sustaining a healthy and nutritional diet. While also transforming how they access & utilize it! Students can learn about hydroponics, adopt healthy eating habits, and explore new career paths. 🔒 Food Safe Cultivation ↳ Our enclosed gardening system maximizes plant growth with minimal effort, fostering a safer and more efficient learning environment. 📖 Hands-on Learning ↳ Students can experience workshops led by dietitians, chefs, or teachers and gain firsthand knowledge about the nutritional value of food, its sources, and delivery technology. 🎒Student-led Activities ↳ Having your own indoor farm allows students to collaborate, promote teamwork, and develop skills, all centered around good food. It's time to prioritize the people who will lead future transformations. And by giving them direct access to experience the cultivating, nurturing, and growth of fresh healthy food. We can reshape the meaning of good food (and its importance) for future generations to come.

We are excited that two-time James Beard Award winner Chef Martin Yan visited our Galleri Micro-Farm at the ACF conference today! Chef Yan is known for his long-running culinary TV show "Yan Can Cook: Spice Kingdom," which features Cantonese cooking. He is also known for his many guest and judge appearances on Top Chef, Iron Chef, and Hell's Kitchen, as well as for his dozens of cookbooks. We hope Chef Yan has a great time at the conference getting to experience our sustainable mico-farms firsthand!
