Our B&W Environmental team is working on another great success story! SPIG air-cooled condensers (ACCs) are effective dry cooling systems to condensate the turbine exhaust steam at waste-to-energy, biomass, solar and thermal power plants. https://lnkd.in/gFrhne7J
We are excited to share an image of another SPIG ACC under construction outside Europe for a Waste to Energy plant. Working on equipment for renewable energy plants, like this Waste to Energy project, is pivotal in our mission to foster a greener future. These plants play a crucial role in reducing landfill waste and generating clean energy, thus significantly contributing to environmental sustainability. By supplying high-quality equipment, we ensure that these facilities operate efficiently and effectively, maximizing their positive impact on the environment. Moreover, we are committed to advancing emission control products that help clean the air. Our solutions are designed to minimize pollutants and greenhouse gases, supporting global efforts to combat climate change. By integrating cutting-edge technology and innovative designs, we not only meet but exceed industry standards for emissions reductions.

B&W's aftermarket parts and services business has grown by 20% over the past five years and, as B&W CEO Kenny Young tells Crain's Cleveland Business reporter Dan Shingler, the company's broader Thermal business is growing, too. He also sees a tremendous future ahead in #renewables and #hydrogen. “If you look out 10 years from now, we see, from our technology standpoint, demand switching a lot toward hydrogen," Young said. “Hydrogen, we believe, will be in high demand in both the industrial and utilities sector.” Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gn_v5niQ
