Earlier this month, Jessica Repici and Christine Rudloff attended the Sports Business Journal’s #BrandInnovationSummit where they witnessed firsthand how innovative brands are disrupting the status quo and changing the game of sports marketing – including women’s sports. What a fun evening! Thank you to our partners and clients that joined us for a night of art and conversation at the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s new "Mary Cassatt at Work" exhibition.    At Athena, two of our values are Executional Excellence and Bold Spirit. These principles resonate deeply with the legacy of Cassatt. Her extraordinary body of work was a testament to diligence, perseverance, and sheer hard work. In essence, Cassatt was a trailblazer— or as we like to say at Athena, “A badass.”   We would also like to extend our gratitude to the exhibit’s co-curator, Jennifer Thompson, The Gloria and Jack Drosdick Curator of European Painting and Sculpture and Curator of the John G. Johnson Collection, for joining us.

For #PrideMonth this year, we’re keeping it in the neighborhood and supporting the Attic Youth Center, which is a community center for LGBTQ+ youth. The Attic is an important space that provides youth with a sense of belonging, connection, and understanding. For a little fun treat this summer, we’re giving them $1,000 worth of gift cards to Rita's Italian Ice, so they can stay cool with a Philly classic.

Thank you Nick Bayer of Saxbys for guest speaking at Athena’s monthly Lunch & Learn. Most people know the hometown coffee company for their cold brew (the top-selling order, by the way) but, at its core, Saxbys is an education company that readies the next generation of leaders for their careers through experiential learning. Bayer talked to our team about maintaining Saxbys’ status as a Certified B Corp and growing the company’s game-changing Student CEO program. Also a big thank you to Athena’s Martin Cordova for moderating the session.
