Congratulations to Dr. Po Lam for being on Newsweek's America's Best Prostate Cancer Surgeons 2024 list. Prostate cancer is a major health concern. One in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer at some point in their life. Other than skin cancer, it is the most common form of cancer in men—the American Cancer Society estimates there will be nearly 300,000 new cases of prostate cancer this year in the U.S.—and it is the second-deadliest behind lung cancer. The SITC-G certificate identifies a healthcare provider as completing specialized training in providing effective and safe care for cancer patients treated with immunotherapy.
