The 2024 NFL schedule was recently released and once again, they've declared "Was Against Christmas"! This year they've gone out of their way to schedule two games on Christmas Day, a Wednesday. I've estimated that about 4,000 people work each game. These people include the players, team staff, concession workers, TV crews, police, parking attendants, extra security, and other stadium personnel; this does not include the restaurant and bar workers who normally have the day off but will now be working on Christmas. And this does not included the 70,000-90,000 fans who are away from their families and loved ones to be at the stadiums, or the millions upon millions of families that have to rearrange their Christmas dinners so members of their families can still have dinner and watch the games! Of course, this is all about money, but the NFL should be ashamed of itself. Maybe they need to be visited by the ghost of Christmas past; they're worse then Ebenezer Scrooge!
