Being an architect and a teacher in a world of constant change, awareness of Project Management concepts and principles becomes more important than ever.
I'm excited to share some insights from our research at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Architecture on incorporating project management (PM) skills into architectural education. Our paper, titled 'Planning and Implementation of Project Management (PM) Processes in the Work of Architecture Students', highlights the critical role of PM training early in the curriculum.
The unique breadth of architects' training makes architects natural leaders in building design and design management. Early general PM training could significantly benefit our students, improving their studies quality and preparing them for professional practice.
This study has been eye-opening, and I am committed to refining our approach in my future research. Stay tuned for more insights!
Also, I'm curious to hear your thoughts—feel free to comment or contact me for details!
