On June 21st, AMOCO and Ura Flores from Higher Up Texas attended The Kinsey African American Art & History Collection at the Rosenberg Library. The exhibition celebrates Black Americans' achievements and contributions from before the United States' formation to the present.
HUT’s Ura Flores was a delighted guest of AMOCO Federal Credit Union to attend The Kinsey African American Art & History Collection at Rosenberg Library on June 21st. The Kinsey African American Art & History Collection travels the globe as an award-winning museum exhibition - lead by the stewardship of Bernard, Shirley, and Khalil Kinsey. The exhibition celebrates the achievements and contributions of Black Americans from before the formation of the United States to present times. We become more empathetic humans when we become aware of the histories of people who experience life in a different lens than our own.
