This Emerson Ave widening project is almost complete! This reconstruction project will improve the pavement structure, drainage, pedestrian accessibility, traffic flow, and overall safety of the roadway. Residents can expect to see two additional vehicular lanes added to the road in each direction, a shared left turn median, new traffic signals, and sidewalks on one side of the roadway with a shared use path on the other. This path and these sidewalks come equipped with ADA compliant curbs and curb ramps. Check out some of the work in the pictures! #IndyDPW Thank you to our partners for your continued hard work! ✏ : American Structurepoint 🚧 : Indiana Department of Transportation 🚧 : Milestone Contractors LP 🔍 : Lochmueller Group
