The 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System proposed rules include updated payment rates and provisions on telehealth flexibilities, health equity, prior authorization, and reimbursement for cell and gene therapies. Specifically, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services are proposing a 2.8% provider reimbursement starting January 1, 2025.
