We offer a full range of Site Service offerings, including integrated scaffolding solutions, tools and supplies, vehicles and construction equipment, rigging and heavy lifting equipment, fueling, workforce hydration, and much more. AMECO aligns our organization to support customer execution efficiently and effectively through all project phases – from project evaluation, planning and estimating, engineering and procurement, contracting, site mobilization, construction, project closeout, to facility operations. Our core industries include advanced manufacturing and technology, energy transition, chemical processing, power, infrastructure, marine, oil and gas, metals and minerals, government, and commercial construction. AMECO was founded in Greenville, South Carolina in 1947 as part of Daniel Construction, a U.S. regional construction company and general contractor. Fluor acquired Daniel Construction in 1977, and AMECO served as the tool and equipment division for the global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm and other clients until spinning off as an independent company in 2021. In 2022, AMECO rounded out our complete Site Services offering with the acquisition of F&M MAFCO.

Stay Alert & Drive Safe this Operation Safe Driver Week! This week (July 7th-13th) is Operation Safe Driver Week! Sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, Operation Safe Driver seeks to improve safety on the road for big trucks, buses, and other large vehicles. In addition to awareness activities, law enforcement will be on the lookout for unsafe driving behaviors like speeding and distracted driving. Here at AMECO, safety is our top priority. We're actively updating signage at our locations to make directions, crosswalks, and speed limits crystal clear for both our own fleet vehicles but also commercial vehicles from suppliers and visitors. Here is a tip for increasing safety on the road that applies to both large fleet vehicles and smaller work trucks or even personal vehicles: Conduct a pre-trip inspection before every trip. Before hitting the road, take a few minutes to visually inspect your vehicle's tires, lights, fluids, and brakes. This simple routine can help identify potential issues early, preventing breakdowns and keeping you safe. Need assistance with your fleet management operations? AMECO's fleet management services offer a variety of onsite preventative maintenance solutions for your fleet of vehicles to keep your operations running smoothly and safely. https://lnkd.in/eBikZJmP

North America is seeing investment in manufacturing that hasn’t been seen in a generation. The explosive growth in construction in the manufacturing industry comes from the global supply chain challenges that encourage owners to “onshore” manufacturing capability, and the transition to electric vehicles is changing how automakers do business. Either of these trends alone would create a boom for construction in the manufacturing sector as factories expand operations, retool, or build new manufacturing facilities. Together, the manufacturing growth is explosive, creating challenges in the construction sector as competition increases for labor, materials, and the indirect services needed for capital construction. AMECO offers comprehensive Site Services® that supply everything a construction site needs to operate — with experience specific to high-tech manufacturing facility construction and processes tailored to the unique needs of the Advanced Manufacturing and Technology (AM&T) industry. We offer custom Advanced Manufacturing & Technology support packages in addition to Site Services®. North America is seeing investment in manufacturing that hasn’t been seen in a generation.
