Exciting Independence Day news for Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan – fireworks are returning to St. Marys River! Due to ongoing construction at the New Lock at the Soo, last year’s celebration was relocated away from the traditional launch site near the east end of the Soo Locks. For 2024's festivities, our project leadership worked with local authorities to provide the necessary space for a safe fireworks display while minimizing disruptions to construction. Our team is looking forward to enjoying Independence Day at Sault Ste. Marie over international waterways! Read more about it here: https://ow.ly/4Rke50Su9QR
