Several Leaders from the feed department attended the Iowa Turkey Federation Summer Meeting June 11 - June 12 held in Ames, IA. The ITF represents the turkey producers in Iowa at the legislative level and are heavily involved in promoting and educating the public on the production of turkey. AgState has been a long-standing member of the Iowa Turkey Federation, with membership on the board, and advocating for our membership at the legislative level. Our support for the ITF strengthened when we joined with the turkey producers in Ellsworth area to purchase the feed mill in 1997.
