At the Wednesday Luncheon during #PDT24, we had the honor of presenting several awards to remarkable individuals and teams. The GAO Innovation Lab, under the leadership of Take Ariga, was awarded the Redmond P. Van Daniker Government Transparency Award for their outstanding contributions to government reporting. David Harvey received the Educator Award in recognition of his significant impact on the education and training of government financial managers. Billy Morehead was presented with the Author Award for his insightful Journal article, "Anatomy of a Fraud." Additionally, we celebrated Jeffrey Steinhoff and Andrew Lewis with Author Awards for their exceptional thought leadership demonstrated in four articles published in the Journal in 2023-2024. Congratulations to all!
