In 2013, we embarked on a journey with a single location and a commitment to help those struggling with addiction. A decade later, our network of rehab facilities has expanded to 15 locations across the United States, with more on the horizon. Today, we proudly announce a significant milestone: 50,000 lives impacted. This number transcends mere patient statistics; it encapsulates the myriad stories of hope, recovery, and transformation that have unfolded within our facilities. Stories of families reunited, friendships rekindled, and futures reimagined. Our success stems from a steadfast dedication to evidence-based, compassionate addiction care. It's not just our achievement; it's a testament to the remarkable work of our dedicated team and the resilience of our patients. As we reflect on the accomplishment of 50,000 lives touched, we extend our gratitude to everyone who has supported our mission. Looking ahead, we are committed to making an even greater impact on those seeking recovery, forging a healthier, substance-free future for all. Here's to the next 50,000 lives impacted, as we continue our journey toward positive change. • Defining success in veteran substance use treatment can be complex, but the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) offers a guiding framework. According to SAMHSA, successful recovery encompasses four key dimensions: Health, Home, Community, and Purpose. For veterans, these dimensions may develop at different rates and include coping with PTSD without substances, better emotional control, and finding a supportive community. It's important to remember that recovery is a non-linear process; setbacks, including relapse, are often part of the journey. Each step forward, even with occasional stumbles, contributes to overall success. At The Recovery Village, we're committed to supporting veterans through every stage of their recovery journey. If you or a veteran in your care is ready to start the path toward long-term recovery, contact us today. #Veterans #PTSD #SubstanceUseDisorder

  • For those in sobriety, especially early days, holidays can be a particularly tempting time to turn back to substance use. But that doesn’t mean that a relapse is unavoidable, or that you’re alone in your struggle. At The Recovery Village, we see sobriety as an opportunity to redefine and renew your life – that includes changing the way you celebrate. By forging fun, substance-free traditions, you can stay on track to your goals while still relaxing and enjoying yourself and your sobriety. Here are four tips to have fun and protect your sobriety on the Fourth of July: 1. Spend time with close friends and family who support your sobriety 2. Celebrate 3. Remember why you’re in recovery 4. Go to a community fireworks show As a reminder, we are available 24/7 to support you and enroll you in treatment, even during holidays. Call one of our Recovery Advocates today to get started on your journey to wellness. #AddictionTreatment #SavingLives #4thofJuly

  • Alcohol use disorder (AUD) is the most common form of substance misuse among military personnel. As veterans transition to civilian life, they can be susceptible to alcohol-related triggers. Recognizing these triggers can help veterans develop strategies to overcome them. Some common triggers include anxiety, their environment, a lack of routine or boredom. The Recovery Village provides special programs and treatments to help veterans struggling with alcohol addiction.
