If any of your patients are looking for specialized mental health treatment, Accanto Health, the parent company of The Emily Program and Gather Behavioral Health, can help. At The Emily Program, we provide a full continuum of multidisciplinary, evidence-based eating disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. An estimated 1 in 5 U.S. adults and 1 in 6 U.S. youth (aged 6-17) experience mental illness each year. Although mental health conditions are real, common, and treatable, shame and stigma can prevent someone from seeking potentially life-saving help. In order for everyone suffering to get the diagnosis and treatment they need, we must continue to break down negative biases around mental illness and widely acknowledge that mental health is just as important as physical health.
